I have beendedicated to my practice into women’s health and fertility for past over 20 years. I was born and raised in Chinaduring the Maoist revolution. I was trained in TCM at BeijingUniversity, which is a prestigious school for Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I studied both Western- and Eastern-style medicine for 5 years. In China, my degree is considered a medical degree. I worked in a hospital setting during and after my degree until I moved to Japan in 1986. Then, I worked and taught in Japanfor 13 years. I moved to Canada in 1999 and have practiced in Markham since 2001.

I collaborate with one of the most prominent fertility clinics in Canada, Located right here in Markham Ontario. Markham Fertility Centre is a world renowned facility in fertility and reproductive medicine with leading edge procedures and state of the art technology. Dr. Virro is a leader in his field of the treatment of ART, such as IVF, IUI, etc.
